Hello there! I'm Fran Cresswell

I am a North London based artist.

I have loved all things creative for as long as I can remember, and in early 2023, I discovered printmaking through a friend. It quickly became my favourite artistic outlet.

After 5 years travelling the world, I came back to the UK to settle down and to recover from Long Covid. I took up printmaking as I was starting to feel a little more energetic, and fell deeply in love with the art form. From the moment I dipped my toes into the world of printmaking, I was hooked!

I have since studied at London Fine Art Studios, Hampstead School of Art, BIP Art Brighton, Morley College and City Lit.

From snapping moments to carving plates and pulling prints, every step of my artistic process is true a labor of love.

As an artist, I’m committed to practicing in a way that respects the planet.

Making art can have an environmental impact, but by being mindful and adopting eco-friendly practices, it’s possible to create sustainably.
